A University of Brasilia The Institute of Arts has opened a new selection process for those wishing to pursue an academic career in the field of Visual Arts. The call for applications has been released. vacancies all with master‘s and doctorate, offering researchers and professionals the chance to deepen their studies on contemporary art, culture, and visual production.

- Diploma of recognized degree for those intending to apply for a master‘s degree
- Diploma of masters for doctoral candidates
- Students in their final year of study may also apply, provided they complete their studies before classes begin.

Yes. Participants who complete the program receive Academic degree of master‘s or doctorate in Visual Arts, granted by the University of Brasília.
This qualification is nationally recognized and allows for work in various fields, such as:

How does the registration process work to participate in the UnB selection process?
Registration takes place exclusively online, through… university academic systemThe candidate must complete the electronic form within the deadline specified in the announcement.
The registration period remains open. until April 10, 2026. The rate is R$200although there is a possibility of exemption for some specific profiles, such as people in Situations of economic vulnerability, bone marrow donors, and employees affiliated with the University of Brasília Foundation.
After registration, participants then go through several evaluation stages. These include analysis of the preliminary research project, a written exam, evaluation of the academic curriculum, and an oral defense before an examining board.
